Ground Control to Mike Mullane

Former NASA astronaut Mike Mullane sits down with host William J Bruce III to discuss his time in space aboard the Shuttles Discovery (STS-41D) and Atlantis (STS-27 & 36).

Today Mullane is the author of three books; "Liftoff! An Astronaut’s Dream", "Do Your Ears Pop In Space?" and "Riding Rockets: The Outrageous Tales of a Space Shuttle Astronaut". The later has been reviewed in the New York Times and on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart before being added to Barnes and Noble’s 2010 recommended summer reading list.
