16 June 2017 (Toronto, ON) – Today, Arkells release the deluxe version of their fourth studio album, Morning Report (August 2016) via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The deluxe edition includes four additional tracks including the band’s current single, “Knocking At The Door”, which has spent a whopping five consecutive weeks at No. 1 at Alternative radio in Canada, and new acoustic recordings of “Knocking At The Door”, the band’s previous hit, “My Heart’s Always Yours” and popular track “And Then Some”.
Also launched today is a limited edition pre-order of the new deluxe album on vinyl. The double LP includes two vinyl records – one blue, one orange – and each disc is encased in a special slip cover.

In addition to the announcement of the deluxe version of Morning Report, it was announced yesterday that Arkells will perform at the 2017 NHL Awards and NHL Expansion Draft in Las Vegas on June 21. The band will be the featured performer at the all-in-one event honouring the top performances of the 2016-17 season and revealing the first members of the NHL’s 31^st team, the Vegas Golden Nights, at T-Mobile Arena.
Arkells have spent most of the year touring, playing some of the biggest festivals in the U.S. including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. The acclaimed alt-rockers will take the stage at the iHeartRadio MMVAs this Sunday, June 18 for the first time ever, performing “Knocking At the Door”, their most fierce song yet. After their stint in Las Vegas, Arkells will return to Canada for their sold-out show with July Talk at Budweiser Stage in Toronto on July 24.
