“Watching the excitement of all the producers, musicians and everybody in the studio after we recorded 'Let It Snow,' and caught the magic of it was, without a doubt, one of my favorite recording experiences I’ve ever had,” said Eldredge. “I’m so excited to share that same magic when I perform it live.”
The platinum-selling recording artist jumped headfirst into the holiday spirit with the recent release of his first Christmas album Glow, which debuted at No. 2 on the country charts. Produced by Rob Mounsey (Elton John, James Taylor, Idina Menzel, Michael Bublé) and Jay Newland (Etta James, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton), Glow features seasonal classics and the original title track in addition to a special duet of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with the 2016 GRAMMMY winner for Best New Artist, Meghan Trainor. The pair’s version of the tune hit No. 1 on the Mediabase Holiday Music Chart this week while snagging No.7 on the Adult Contemporary Chart.
The 11-track project has earned critical acclaim from outlets including People, Entertainment Weekly, who named it one of the hottest Christmas albums of 2016, and The Tennessean. The New York Times praised Eldredge as a “disarming crooner deeply at home in front of a big band,” drawing comparisons between him and the likes of Sinatra.
Eldredge will deck the halls while continuing to climb to the top of the charts as the current single from his album Illinois, “Wanna Be That Song,” moves to No. 3 at country radio.
