Shelton to Make Special Announcement Later Today
New Single “A Guy With A Girl” Top 15 at Radio Now
NASHVILLE, TN – (November 21, 2016) – Last night at the 2016 American
Music Awards, country music superstar Blake Shelton came out on top,
taking home the trophy for Favorite Country Male. This was Shelton’s
fourth nomination in that category, which he also won in 2011.
“This has been such a special year for me and the fans have been
there all along,” said Shelton. “From the success of If I’m Honest, to
the tour and now this is award, it is because of the fans and I’m so
thankful. Y’all are the best!!”

Shelton’s new single “A Guy With A Girl” is currently climbing the
charts, entering the Top 15 this week at country radio. The song is
Shelton's third single from his chart topping new album If I'm Honest,
which is the best-selling country album of 2016 and the only country
album released this year to be certified Gold! The album has already
yielded the hit singles “Came Here To Forget” and “She’s Got A Way With
Words” and features three songs Shelton wrote including the gospel-hymn
“Savior’s Shadow,” the hit song from the box office smash Angry Birds The Movie “Friends,” and “Go Ahead And Break My Heart,” a song he wrote and performs with Gwen Stefani.
Shelton is also back for season 11 of The Voice, and team Blake
fields a powerful team with three contestants still left. The Emmy Award
winning show airs Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
