Atlantic recording artist Charlie Puth is
celebrating an incredible summer of success, highlighted by yesterday’s
long anticipated premiere of the official “We Don’t Talk Anymore (Feat.
Selena Gomez)” companion video. The clip – which debuted exclusively
today via BuzzFeed – is streaming now at Puth’s official YouTube channel.
The week kicked off with Charlie’s show-stopping performance on FOX’s 2016 Teen Choice Awards,
offering up a truly special version of “We Don’t Talk Anymore,”
highlighted by a dynamic, standing piano solo surrounded by fans. The
performance is now streaming on YouTube.
Charlie – already a 2015 Teen Choice Award winner – was a four-time
nominee this year, including nods for Choice Male Artist and Choice
Music Breakout Artist.
Meanwhile, Puth is currently gearing up to begin his biggest North American headline tour to date. The tour begins September 26th
at Dallas, TX’s House of Blues and then travels until November (see
attached itinerary). For complete details and ticket information, visit www.charlieputh.com/tour.
Puth announced the tour with his first televised performance of “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” as part of the Citi Concert Series on NBC’s TODAY. He also performed his global hit single “One Call Away” along with a heartfelt rendition of “See You Again” in tribute to the victims of June’s Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting. This tour follows Puth’s hugely popular
“Nine Track Mind Tour,” which sold out nearly every date within 30
minutes of its spring announcement. The tour accompanied the release of
Puth’s now RIAA gold certified debut album, NINE TRACK MIND, which made a remarkable chart debut upon its January 2016 release, arriving at #5 on Billboard’s
“Top Current Albums chart,” fueled by the now 2x RIAA platinum
certified singles “One Call Away” and “Marvin Gaye (Feat. Meghan
Trainor).”
“We Don’t Talk Anymore (Feat. Selena Gomez),” the latest single from NINE TRACK MIND,
has become an undeniable summertime pop smash, including top 20 airplay
on multi-format radio outlets nationwide. The single – Puth’s fourth
consecutive top 40 entry on Billboard’s “Hot 100” – is a top 10
favorite on the iTunes Store’s “Top Pop Songs” chart having also reached
the top 10 on Shazam’s “US Top 10” and “Worldwide Top 10.” “We Don’t
Talk Anymore” is also proving to be a global success, hitting Spotify’s
“Most Streamed” chart in countless countries with over 141 million
streams worldwide.
A 2016 Billboard Music Award nominee for
“Best New Artist,” and recent winner of two Billboard Music Awards, Puth
is currently in the midst of a long series of international live dates,
including headline shows, radio concerts, and festival appearances.
Recent highlights include a one-night-only show supporting Selena Gomez
at Anaheim, CA’s Honda Center as well as two stadium shows supporting
one of his musical heroes, the legendary Billy Joel. August will see
Puth visiting Asia for a packed itinerary including stops in Singapore,
Thailand, The Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan. For complete
