BIG BEAT RECORDS ANNOUNCES OFFICIAL XOXO SOUNDTRACK
+ FEATURING NEW GALANTIS AND EAST & YOUNG COLLABORATION “MAKE ME FEEL”

Big Beat Records announces a new partnership on the forthcoming Netflix original film XOXO on its official 16-track soundtrack, which will launch globally on August 26th alongside the film release. As an early treat to fans, you can now stream Galantis and East & Young’s uplifting collaborative song “Make Me Feel” (http://smarturl.it/MakeMeFeelYT), the first of several exclusive tracks that will be available on the soundtrack – full tracklist below.
“Make Me Feel” is a great first taste of the soundtrack, with its laid-back tropical, synth-driven vibe that pairs perfectly with XOXO, a
coming-of-age movie about a group of early 20-somethings who head out
on a crazy adventure to the biggest EDM festival in America. The film
follows six strangers whose lives collide in one frenetic,
dream-chasing, hopelessly romantic night. At the center is Ethan, a
young DJ who gets a last minute slot to perform after his tracks go
viral online days before the festival. This is a huge opportunity… if he
can just make it there in one piece.
Galantis was the logical choice for the first song off the soundtrack, since their massive current single “No Money” (stream) has garnered over 300 Million streams
globally across Spotify and YouTube, cracked the Top 10 iTunes Dance
chart, and peaked at #1 on Beatport Progressive House Chart. Its music video (directed by Andrew Donoho) is equal parts Lord of The Flies meets Michael Jackson’s Thriller, except
featuring a pack of kids wandering (and dancing) through deserted
Atlanta with Seafox-esque face paint added in for good measure!
Galantis’ debut album Pharmacy (2015, Big Beat/Atlantic - listen here)
is an anthemic, transcendent, 13-track feel good record that was
written and recorded between Los Angeles and a tiny archipelago near
Stockholm, Sweden. The album reached #1 on Billboard/Electronic Albums
chart, and has since eclipsed over 131 million streams to date.
“Make Me Feel” is a collaboration with well known Dutch producers East & Young,
who are combining dance with influences from indie & pop. The duo
have remixed Galantis (twice), remixed The Knocks, got a golden record
in the Netherlands (Rondé - Run – East & Young remix in 2015) and
have released on labels such as Ultra and Big Beat. East & Young
have 20 million plays on Spotify and lately this number is growing

XOXO stars Sarah Hyland (Modern Family), Graham Phillips (The Good Wife), Brett DelBuono, Chris D’Elia (Undateable), Haley Kiyoko (Jem & The Holograms), Colin Woodell (Masters of Sex), Ryan Hansen (Party Down, 2 Broke Girls), Ian Anthony Dale (Hawaii Five-0) and Ione Skye (Say Anything). XOXO is
directed by Christopher Louie and written by Dylan Meyer. Max Leitman,
Joe Russell p.g.a., Christopher Louie p.g.a., Pete Tong, and Dan Shafer
