NEW YORK, Aug. 12, 2016  -- 20th Century Fox Consumer Products and Lou Adler have appointed Artist Legacy Group ("ALG") to act as U.S. brand representative for the classic cult film The Rocky Horror Picture Show, it was announced today by ALG CEO Ashley Austin.

ALG will collaborate closely with Fox, the film's distributor, and Adler, its executive producer, to help introduce the "absolute pleasure" of The Rocky Horror Picture Show to a new generation through exciting licensing and branding strategies including high-end merchandise collections.

The partnership will further the reach of the iconic Rocky Horror brand across a variety of categories including luxury apparel, lingerie, footwear, accessories, jewelry, timepieces, gifts & novelties, food & beverage, cosmetics and emojis. The first licensing opportunity curated by ALG, a Rocky Horror-inspired lingerie capsule collection by Hanky Panky Ltd. as part of its Hanky Panky After Midnight® line, hits stores this fall.

"I'm not a connoisseur of lingerie, except as an observer, so when the idea for Hanky Panky to do a line inspired by The Rocky Horror Picture Show was presented to me by Ashley and Scott at ALG, I asked three ladies what they thought of it, and all three said they were wearing Hanky Panky at the moment, that was good enough for me. The Hanky Panky After Midnight® line is a perfect match of Hanky Panky and The Rocky Horror Picture Show and ALG has been a perfect match for us," says Lou Adler.

Just in time for Halloween, the brand-new production of the 1975 cult classic THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW: Let's Do the Time Warp Again will air Thursday, Oct. 20 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The special two-hour musical event follows sweethearts JANET (Victoria Justice, co-host of TEEN CHOICE 2016, Victorious) and BRAD (Ryan McCartan, Liv and Maddie, Heathers: The Musical), who stumble upon DR. FRANK-N-FURTER's (Emmy Award-nominated actress Laverne Cox, Doubt, Orange is the New Black) bizarre abode. Frank-N-Furter, a sexually ambiguous, flirtatious mad-scientist, is holding an annual Transylvanian science convention to showcase the birth of ROCKY HORROR - created solely to fulfill Frank's desires. Actor and singer Staz Nair (Game of Thrones) will star in the role.

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW: Let's Do the Time Warp Again is from Fox 21 Television Studios, The Jackal Group and Ode Sounds & Visuals. It is executive-produced by Lou Adler (Grammy Award winner, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and executive producer of the original The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Gail Berman (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, former President of Fox Broadcasting Company) and Kenny Ortega (Emmy Award-winning director and choreographer, High School Musical franchise, Michael Jackson's This Is It, Descendants, Hocus Pocus, Newsies).
